Angela Beth Washeck is a writer, editor and Texan through-and-through. She’s sometimes told that she looks 12, but don’t be fooled. When Angela’s not doing journalism for MediaBistro.com’s 10,000 Words blog, TexasMonthly.com or BubbleLife.com, you can catch her watching “How I Met Your Mother” reruns, cheering on the Texas A&M Aggies (yet still chuckling at Aggie jokes), eating all things Tex-Mex and attending indie/folk concerts in Dallas.

Her work has been featured on PBS MediaShift as a “Daily Must Read,” and republished on Editor and Publisher, the American Press Institute and more.

Angela once delivered a bulletproof vest to legendary newsman Dan Rather’s penthouse apartment and fetched him a bologna sandwich (don’t worry; it wasn’t the same day). You should ask her about it.

She’s especially interested in writing about the changing media landscape, as well as technology and faith.

She’d love for you to hire her to do freelance work. Follow her @angelawasheck or email her at angelawasheck@gmail.com.
